This setup allows you to dip objects in the liquid nitrogen without all of the liquid nitrogen evaporating off almost instantly like in a Styrofoam container (holds 3-5 hours).
The wide mouth dewar has a 6.5″ wide opening and is approx. 5.5″ deep, allowing around 2.5 liters of liquid nitrogen to be held for up to 5 hours.
Pope Scientific makes this low form dewar to hold liquid nitrogen in a more open environment so that objects and samples can be dipped and the liquid nitrogen can be accessed easier.
This is a glass “table top” dewar that holds 2.5 liters of liquid nitrogen with hold times of 2-5 hours.
This dewar is low form with a wide opening. All precautions need to be taken while handling liquid nitrogen, this is one reason we are including CryoGloves in the combo pack rental.
