MVE Vapor Shippers are designed for the safe transportation of biological samples at cryogenic (-150°C or colder) temperatures.
Manufactured from durable, lightweight aluminum, the MVE CryoShipper Vapor Series employs a hydrophobic compound which absorbs the liquid nitrogen to ensure dry, spill-free vapor-phase shipping. These containers may be used to ship your samples with a “non-hazardous” classification throughout the world, thus reducing costs and helping to assure sample viability.
These rental dewars are safe for transporting biological samples such as sperm or eggs. The samples go into the removable canister that sits inside the nitrogen tank at -150°C or colder and allow for transportation. Once the shipper has been “charged” with liquid nitrogen, the expected holding time is 10 days.
Since we deal with liquid nitrogen on a regular basis, we can offer this unit to be already charged with liquid nitrogen upon being shipped. That means when you receive it, you don’t have to look around for liquid nitrogen to get it charged!

*** CryoShipper has a rectangular assembly measuring 5.6” (142 mm) by 6.6” (167 mm) with a usable height of 11.0” (279 mm). Hold time specs actual performance may vary with atmospheric conditions, sample temperature, and usage.
This unit is a dry shipper, so the FAA and IATA regulations allow for this to be transported via a carry on or checked baggage, but double check with your airline for specifics if you still have questions.
